all about emily

I've always known I wanted to be an artist, and despite a few detours along the way, that's exactly what I grew up to be.

My journey took me to college to be an art teacher, then it took me 1000 miles away from home to a new college to be an animator and visual effects artist. It took me to Orlando, FL, and then to Los Angeles, CA. My journey took me to small, independent film studios and the commercial division of a bigger studio. Eventually my journey led me back to Pittsburgh, and it led me to accepting a position at an architectural illustration firm. And finally my journey led me to where I am today: a self-employed artist living and working in my hometown.

Ever since December 2017, it's been a beautiful whirlwind of variety. I have worked on watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, and digitally painted illustrations. I have done portraits of children, spouses, and pets.

Starting 1/01/2023, I will no longer be offering custom artwork or commission options unless you are one of my top-tier patrons on Patreon. You can sign up to support my artistry at $1, $5, $10, or $50 per month here if you are interested.

In the meantime, take a look around and check out my the children's book that I wrote, illustrated, and self-published. I'm a one-woman show here, and I hope you enjoy your stay.
